Section I of the southern part of the Paikon Massif (on Fig. 8B) does not cross the Gandatch Mt; it has to be completed with section II. Section I indicates folds with an eastern vergence affecting the Central Sequence (D₂ event). The Central Sequence is thrust top-to-the-NE by the Western Paikon units (D₃ events) and top-to-the-E. by the Eastern Paikon units. The Eastern Paikon units thrust the Western Paikon units (D₅ event), the contact is easily observed at point 22 of Figure 8B.
