Zircon Lu–Hf compositions for samples from this study and from the eastern French Massif Central (FMC) literature, expressed as εHf(t) versus U–Pb age, with (a) zircon ages from 200 Ma to 3500 Ma; and (b) zircon ages from 200 Ma to 800 Ma. Grey and pink areas represent inherited cores and magmatic zircons from S-type granites (Moyen et al., 2017), respectively. Zircon data for the Velay unit, LGU and UGU are compiled from (Chelle-Michou et al., 2017; Couzinié et al., 2019).
