Backscattered electron images and chemical compositions of magmatic and hydrothermal cassiterite from Puy-les-Vignes plotted in the ternary diagram (Nb + Ta)–(Ti + Sn + W)–(Fe + Mn). Magmatic cassiterite differs texturally from hydrothermal cassiterite by a discrete zoning and microinclusions of columbite-tantalite minerals (Clb–Tnt).
