(1) Isoclinal syn-metamorphic folds of the D1 event with a WSW vergence in white siliceous marble, below the Almopias sheet at Arnissa site (pt.4 on Fig. 5A); (2) Field view at an outcrop scale of the “Prasinitic” tectonic mélange below the Almopias ophiolitic nappe of the Klissochori unit. The prasinitic foliated matrix includes cm- to several cm-scale exotic angular blocks without any order (m: marble, g: gneiss and micaschists, a: amphibolite) metamorphosed in Epidote Amphibolite /Amphibolite facies and subsequently affected by schistosity during the D3 event; (3) isoclinal syn- metamorphic folds with a western vergence in the siliceous white marbles below the Vourinos sheet located 1 km downstream the Zavordas Monastery on the Aliakmon River left bank.; (4) location on the right bank of the river; (5) photographs of isoclinal syn- metamorphic folds with a western vergence.
