Stylophyllopsis laxa (Fromentel & Ferry, 1867) is considered a junior synonym of S. fritillus according to Vasseur & Lathuilière (2021). S. rugosa (Duncan, 1868) is regarded as a junior synonym of S. walliae (Duncan, 1867) according to Beauvais (1986).
