The LDG velocity model. This 1-D velocity model is used for seismic event location in metropolitan France at the CEA. It is also used to perform moment tensor inversions of earthquakes presented in this paper (see Sect. 4.3). Columns are the number of the layer, the thickness (h in km), the P-wave velocity (Vp in km.s−1), the S-wave velocity (Vs in km.s−1), the density (ρ), the quality factor for P-waves (Qp) and for S-waves (Qs).
